What is an extension?

An extension is a user account on your phone system. Each person who needs to make or receive calls requires their own extension. Extensions can be assigned to phone numbers, mobile devices, or softphone applications.

What's included with each extension:

  • Voicemail with transcription

  • Business texting capability (requires 10DLC registration)

Phone Numbers

The first phone number is included at no charge. Additional numbers are $10 per month each. This applies to both local and toll-free numbers. You can search and purchase numbers from your dashboard.

Business Texting

SMS messaging capability is included with each extension. However, business texting requires 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) registration with carriers before use. Registration is a one-time process. We provide registration assistance, but approval and throughput are determined by carriers, not by us.

Taxes and Regulatory Fees

Applicable taxes and regulatory fees may apply based on your location and usage. These fees are passed through at cost and may include state and local taxes, federal Universal Service Fund contributions, and other regulatory assessments. Fees vary by jurisdiction.

Billing Terms

Service is billed monthly in advance. No long-term contracts required. You can cancel service at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are provided according to our refund policy.

Common Questions

Can I port my existing phone number?

Yes. We support number porting from most carriers. The porting process typically takes 7-10 business days and requires a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from your current carrier. You must keep your existing service active during the port process. Porting fees may apply.

Is business texting included?

SMS capability is included, but business texting requires 10DLC registration before use. Registration is a carrier requirement, not an optional feature. We assist with registration, but approval and message throughput are determined by carriers. Registration does not guarantee approval or specific throughput levels.

Are there contracts or cancellation fees?

No. We offer month-to-month service with no long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees.

How does emergency calling work?

Our service supports E911 emergency calling. You must provide and maintain accurate physical addresses for each phone number. Emergency calling depends on internet connectivity and power. It may not function during outages or disruptions. See our E911 policy for complete details and limitations.

What happens if I need more extensions?

You can add extensions at any time from your dashboard. Each additional extension is $30 per month. Extensions are prorated if added mid-month. You can also remove extensions, which will take effect at the end of your billing period.
